I agree 100%. If you're a college student you wouldn't want to have to bring a big ass computer with you. With the laptop at least you will be able to move it around easier giving you a handier time.

I would go with number 2 way better GPU

First for multi-tasking on a huge scale because it has a better CPU, and second for gaming as it has a better GPU, pick whichever one you'll use it for most according to that
