What are the most popular and most played games on pc and what are the most hyped games that are still in development ?

CS:GO, for sure I'd say is the most 'popular'.
However you've also got games like Rocket League, Dota 2 and League of Legends also being really popular amongs many others.

Popular games, these are all the games that are being most played as of now. This is on steam of course.

However for the games in development, it is hard to say. As my hype won't be the same as your hype and everyone else hype. No Man's Sky is a game I am looking forward to, I would say it has loads of hype from me and a lot of other gamers. I would also say Battlefield 1 and now that Forza Horizon 3 is coming to PC it is getting pretty hyped. Those are the games I am looking forward to and are getting a lot of hype.

Battlefield 1 is probably the most hyped in development game at the moment.
Personally, I am getting excited for No Man's Sky (delayed until August 2016).
