I had a deal with my friends the first time I went to summerfest (i was 16) that I was gonna be the designated driver for them. That way I can experience it sober and be less likely to get lost if I was drunk!

As far as other drugs, there WILL be people passing joints around. I have been to quite a few concerts and basically everyone there is drinking, smoking cigs/weed or vaping.

However it depends who you see.... If you see Wiz Khalifa, well whattya think you'll see?? haha

Just take care what you're doing and think really what you're doing. Don't drink too many drinks if you're going to drive back home? Just live your life when you're there. Just have fun like any festival you attend to.

Yeah I understand the drug situation, weed I'm not concerned about it's the others haha. the part I'm sceptical about is camping, never really camped before so unsure what to bring and incase stuff gets robbed

Pop up tent, nothing worse than being hometime, your hungry, tired, hungover and on a come down now you need to dismantel a tent and try rearrange it so it fits in the wee bag it comes in.

Take lots of babywipe packs.

Use toilets early in the morning area's normally smelly because they empty them early but atleast there isnt a mountain of fieces almost touching you.

Drug wise MDMA take small amounts gradually make sure you have 1 bottle of water on hand, coke you'll be fine most likely and KET just stay well clear off same with pills.

Most importantly just enjoy yourself and dont get involved in anything thay hasn't got anything to do with you.

At 17 I would recommend you do, theres always the chance of taking a bad turn on them youll have a good time without them.

Watch your drink etc all the standard stuff, stay safe lad and enjoy yourself.

Stay hydrated. (Bring a camelback if you can, drinks are expensive)
Have fun.
Spread kindness.
Bring a tent. (Be sure to put up a tarp on the east side, the sun will blast you in the morning)
If you're going to get drugs, watch out for undercover cops and who you buy from.
Lastly, think in advance. Know what you're going to be doing later and plan accordingly
