Can EU PSN Codes be redeemed in the US? Need to know ASAP.

Pretty sure that's a no. Why else would they differ between the codes?

I currently do not own a PlayStation, but if it does not work could you not just create another PlayStation Network account with the region set to the EU?

No they cannot. I tried it quite a while ago but it still holds true.

No you cannot however you can change your region and you can redeem it then.
