I have decided that while I'm at university I need to upgrade my rig (I got a little rig for university as I didn't want to transport my big rig) here are it's specs:
CPU: i5 4460
RAM: Corsair Dominator 16 GB
SSD: 840 Evo 256Gb
HDD: 2 x 1 TB WD Black
GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 960 4GB
Do I get a CPU upgrade or get a CPU upgrade? (I have £400). I like the 1060 (it looks good), I have a 1080 in my rig at home but I spend most of my time at University so I want a good value - performance PC.
I would take suggestions on the CPU at this time (If you think I should upgrade the CPU first).

The CPU definitely doesn't need upgrading. If you really want to upgrade CPU, wait for Zen or LGA 2066 or something. As for GPU, it makes no sense to upgrade the 960 if it's more than enough for you right now. If you are insistent on an upgrade, a GTX 1060 or RX 480 is your best bet IMO.

I need the upgrade because If you've ever played on a 960 or used one for a certain task, it's slow and I play a lot of Fallout 4 and GTA V (with mods) so it's struggling at 1080p
