I guess it just depends on who owns the house.

From my experience, Americans seem to take trespassing really seriously. They have the whole shoot first, ask questions later when someone is on their property which is totally understandable. Personally I would have no problem with someone entering my garden to collect pokemon or whatever but only if they knock on my door and ask. I don't see any harm in someone going into your garden to collect pokemon and I would actually find it amusing to watch them concentrating and trying to catch a pokemon.

There's a guy that parks in my driveway because he works in a shop beside my house and there's literally nowhere else for him to park (I live in a really busy area) and I have no problem with him parking his car there. There's easily enough room for a couple more cars if family are over visiting and I don't see the harm in brightening someone else's day or just even making his life a little easier. This obviously isn't the same as letting someone enter your garden but it's not too different.

At the end of the day, the land isn't yours. Somebody lived there before you, somebody will live there after you and in sometime in the future, that land will probably be gone.

If some kid with low self confidence knocks on your door and asks nicely if he could use your back garden for 30 seconds and you turn him away then you could really ruin his day. I'd rather let him have his fun, meet a new person and progress in his game but each to their own and I totally understand the reasoning behind your opinion. I just have a different one.

I've never shot anyone for trespassing, only more serious stuff like once in a gas station, but it was non-lethal, never a kill-shot unless I have to. So not all Americans are like that I promise lol, and if any of these kids did knock on my door, I probably would let them, but I'd go with to make sure they didn't trip over any of the weird roots from some of the plants I have as some of the roots are a bit bendy, but the kids around here are just assholes, all but one, this one girl who moved in across the street, she's mildly autistic, about to turn 13, the most respectful kid I've ever met, and her parents are awesome too.

I let people park in my driveway too, I have a sign up for guest parking actually that's big enough to fit some pretty large vehicles, or multiple small ones, so I promise I'm not just an ass, I just don't like people hopping my fence and destroying my property. Some of my exotics are very delicate, which is how two of my Birds of Paradise plants were killed by being stepped on once or twice, cuz that's all it takes for a plant like this.

But if anyone came to my door and asked me, hell yea I'd let them, but like I said, I'd go with them because last thing I need is them to trip because they it'd be my fault according to the law for allowing a kid into "unsafe conditions", I really just don't want anyone getting hurt on my property, or anyone damaging my property either.

See I like your method of replying to people, you respect my opinion, and voice your own, and I do the same back. People could learn a thing or two from us lol

Glad I'm not the only one with this issue lol. Every time we find someone out in our backyard we let the dogs out. I usually have one of the rifles close by because a few years ago we actually had a thief looking through our stuff and right now is prime time for thieves. Ever since we started letting the dogs out no one bother us.

Just a not to anyone who wants to play Pokemon GO in our yard or try to steal from us, you will be meeting my dogs so get well acquainted with them.

That's when the game goes too far and people go wherever they please themselves. It's damn rude walking in someone's garden. smh..

I completely understand where you're coming from, normally the Pokemon would've been in range for them to grab it outside of your garden I would've thought

I'd be the same to be honest, I had a Prygon spawn in my house a few times now, so as long as no one walks through my house I guess I'm all good lol.

I hope you aren't serious lol, if so, there is no way in hell you should own a firearm. As for me, I actually have a few weapons. Two 30-06 Remington 700's for hunting, the area I'm hunting in determines which one I use, I also have an AR-15 because honestly what American gun-owner doesn't have one? I also have a Mossberg 590a1, which is my skeet shooting and gun range weapon of choice unless I'm fixing the sights on one of the others, or unless of course in the event of a home invasion, then it's my weapon of choice. If you're wondering why rubber, it's because rubber shells hurt like a bitch, but are generally non-lethal, so that way he'll live, can be prosecuted, and also be in quite a bit of pain to serve as a reminder to not take other people's belongings. And for my concealed carry I just have a small S&W 9mm, it's functional, dependable, and easily concealable, so it works for me lol

But I'm not gonna go in my park yard and fire off shots in the air, besides, firing into the air with any projectile weapon besides scatterguns such as a shotgun, is illegal, due to many people in the world throughout history being hit with the falling projectile once it reaches it's peak height, which is lethal.
