Oh yeah, most definitely. I went from wired to wireless... To say the least... I now have a 100 Foot Ethernet cable running under my new house.

it will improve your speeds and signal significantly. If your router is not near your Xbox I suggest you invest in a powerline adapter as it is much better than a wireless connection....I work in the IT industry

if you can use a wired connection i would recommend it over wireless. i think it makes a difference. faster speeds etc. i use wired on my rgh and everything is quick for me.
