They are really close to China. Financially, as well as Physically in a sense of trades and such. China has even stated they will protect NK, in the event a Country goes to war with no good reason. Though, NK gives plenty of good reason, by constantly threatening war itself.

I wouldn't say they're really close, they're big time trading partners but their relationship is cooling down a lot with NK continuing their Nuclear Weapons experiments and rocket tests. They aren't going to cut ties because nearly half of the imported goods in NK are Chinese, but the Chinese will not be their one of their allies should conflict breakout, they're more the peacemaker in all of it.

- North Korea will continue to do their missile tests
- South Korea will continue to be outraged and demand that something be done
- The US will continue to demand that North Korea stop
- North Korea will continue to threaten the US and do missile tests

Rinse and repeat.

Can we just wipe North Korea out of the Earth? All they do is cause trouble.

Only time will see as we are about to start our join operations exercise this coming week. Last year both sides did launch artillery over the DMZ and a couple south koreans stepped on land mines. Thats about it.
