When my friend was trying to change his oil but the cap broke off, now he can't get it off, any suggestions?

The cap in the engine bay you remove to add oil, or the drain bolt on the bottom of the block? If it's just the cap in the engine bay the answer is simple. You will need a drill and some pliers, just screw in a screw to the plastic cap (I can't stress the importance of not going through the filler neck though), and grab some pliers to grip the screw near the base and start turning like you're unscrewing the cap. I've had to do this a couple times.
