To be honest i think it was more popular when there was modded xbox/ps3 shops because you could actually trust the people on this website rather than going on some sketchy website.

But now as the modding craze has died down, so has ttg

AMAZING RANT!!! /s

I'm just being a dick but yeah it certainly is. But maybe it's just us older members who are just burnt out. I've been here (lurking...possibly other accounts from ages ago) for about... 7 years?!... Christ that's a lot but I can imagine how this site can seem amazing to newer guys. This happens in life, you just simply out grow shit.

I kinda think TTG is dying also, but about 300 people sign up daily. So i think it can stay active as long as members and moderators stay as active as possible.

Back in the day most of this site was more towards modding and thats where most members have come from including myself. About a year back they removed the JTAG fourms to focus the site on more gaming based which did have its cons. I believe if the site does not pick back up this winter with new games being released I dont think it will ever be as active as it once was , unless there is some modding for xbox one and ps4 in the near future.

Mate you bring this site single handed to the way it was around 2/3 years ago, I'll gift your gold every month it was up and running.

When modding was really popular the community was super active, but now it just seems as if people will reply to any thread on this site just to get a +1.
