That was a head kick. lol DJ could knock out Dominick Cruz with a head kick.
A lot easier to catch a bigger guy with a head kick vs getting inside and landing punches. Josh fought the perfect "small man" fight here by circling, catching Nate in counters as he came in for exchanges, literally throwing almost nothing but leg kicks in the first round to drop Nate's hands and set the head kick. It was there twice in the first and once in the second that ended the fight so the head kick was there all fight. I think you missed the point here about Nate just being the natural bigger guy. Conor walks around at about 175 while Nate's is 190-195. Though a size difference isn't always an issue, it can also be a game changer.

This is my take on the whole situation. Lets go way back to when conor said he wanted to move up a weight class. He was scheduled to fight Dos Anjos March 5th in the MGM Grand. Before the fight conor was training for a specific body type and lets not forget the fight was at 155. When dos anjos pulled out Nate diaz was asked an accepted. Here is where it changes both fighters had 11 days notice that the fight was at 170 for nate thats fine because he is naturally that but Conor had to gain 15 pounds in the space of 11 days and have a new training style. He obviously did not train cardio as he gassed out in the second round and lost. This time around the fight is at 170 again but this time he has trained for nates body type has done cardio and is not eating everything in his path.
My prediction is that is will either be by decision or TKO round 2 -3.

I feel like Conor should win but Nate is really tough and has good stand up. I think it will be a round 2 KO for Conor and we'll see a third fight down the road.

It will be a close fight but I believe that Diaz will walk away with a win via decision. The fight will definitely go all the way in my opinion. Both fighters have a similar fighting style. Both of them like to trade punches standing up but Nate Diaz does have the advantage when it comes to ground game. Conor will take the first round easy but I believe Nate will conserve more of his energy and work on calculating his longer reach punches before taking Conor to the ground on the second round and keeping him there to gas him out a bit and win the round. The third round will be an all out boxing match. Nate can take a punch so I do not believe Conor has a great chance whatsoever in knocking Diaz out as he predicts he will. But yeah thats just how I see the fight turning out. Will be a great one to watch

DavosSeaworth wrote Mcgregor got gassed he was beating Diaz on his feet you could see by diaz face that he was getting beat you couldnt even see because it was covered in blood. When conor got rocked by Diazs punch and got put on the ground it was game over because conor was burnt out.
He got gassed out in the 1st round he admitted that. But if you watch the replay...McGregor actually went for the take down.He didn't get put down lol
Im going McGregor 4th round win.

The press conference just got canceled due to connor showing up late and diaz then leaving the since he came late. connor was throwing water bottles and insulting him and his crew as he left.

Did you even watch the press conference Diaz through the water bottles first and connor was defending himself, nate always hides behind his crackhead gang
