So im looking to upgrade from this graphics card, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , to this graphics card, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . Would this be a good upgrade? Let me know please

Nope. Reference 480s are pretty terrible. If you're buying a new GPU, get one from an AIB.

I wouldn't recommend a 480 anyway, doesn't make sense to upgrade one generation. Then again, whether it is a "good upgrade" or not, depends.

a gtx 1060 would be a nice upgrade. if u can find one

GTX 1060 is the same league as an RX 480, it also wouldn't be logical. As I said, it depends.


I'll just copy and paste what I replied to your other thread, asking about upgrades;
"What does your system not do well enough that you want it to? What is your budget and currency for upgrades?

Also, what case, PSU, and CPU cooler do you have?"
