Live in the UK and would like to have a chose of first cars to pick from with a decent price and insurance. I don't want no shitty corsa's or and types of those vehicles.

Excluding the Corsa, the other cars my friends drive are Renault Clio, Audi A1 and Mini Coopers. It really depends on your budget, My Mini Cooper cost me £2600 and £1200 for insurance with a black box. Your insurance will vary depending on where you live and the other factors they use to calculate a price. Just look around on autotrader and local dealers then look at some insurers.

Cars that would be ideal:
Mini Cooper
Renault Clio
Audi A1
Toyota Aygo
VW Polo
VW Golf
Ford Fiesta

Thanks for your suggestions but not a big fan on some of those. I'd like a 4 door vehicle since Im not a big fan of just the 2 doors. Any suggestions for Volvo's?

I am not sure about Volvo's, you'll have to have a look around yourself. The Polo, Golf and Fiesta have 4-Door versions.

Just go around to dealer lots, find a car you like and get a quote for insurance. Every car has known issues, it's just the luck of the draw if you get something good or bad.

if you're looking for a Volvo then I suggest an S40, S60 or S80. Wagon wise look for a V70. They also make the race versions of those (S60R, V70R etc.)

Not sure if its your price range but a Subaru Impreza 2.0i (not the wrx). I have a 5 door hatch and I personally love it!
