Agreed, not only with cartoons but even the regular shows. We had Recess, SpongeBob (still going on which is good), Fairyodd Parents all fantastic then you look at the cartoons now. Then the regular Nick/Disney shows, we had Drake and Josh, Kenan and Kel, Suite Life on Deck/of Zack and Cody(few others but these were my favourite). They were all so great and now it's just filled with Garbage

I do find most cartoons now very boring and stupid but id imagine people that were our age when we were young felt the same about the cartoons we watched even though i do think they are still much better than the new ones, it may just be nostalgia that makes them seem better than they are but idk.

It's because you associate those cartoons with early adolescence. They were apart of your childhood and you have early memories watching them.

Cartoons have made a full 180 from when they were made while i was younger till now

cause that is what we grew up on I suppose? don't get me wrong there is a few good cartons which I find funny like my personal favourite adventure time with Flynn and Jake. but a lot of the cartoons these days are all the 3d stuff which they look terrible in and also comedy for kids has been dulled down a lot cause apparently it is "to violent" or influences "bad behaviour". which is bs cause I think our generation has turned out fine, I don't go a round hitting people or shoving dynamite up anyone's arse good old tom and jerry.

Cartoons these days are whack! My favorite cartoon back in the day was Rocket Power. Show was lit!
