FUT Champions is a new way for people to compete in FIFA 17, each week you qualify for the weekend League and you can win in-game rewards by doing this. This gives players more excitement of playing the game. The more games you win you progress to higher tiers and this will mean better in-game rewards. From what i have read the tiers start at Bronze and end at Elite.

There are 3 ways you can play this gamemode, Basic, Advanced and Leagues. Challenges are put into groups which unlock bigger in-game rewards. You get to choose what challenge you want and when you do you basically work towards completing the challenge, obviously the harder the challenges the bigger the prizes. On the side of the screen you will see requirements which you will have to abide by and when you create a team with those requirements you will get rewards.

You have to build your team from the players in your club and if you don't have them you will then either have to try and buy them or try pack them. There are also group rewards which is when you complete a set of teams and achieve one bigger prize. From what i have saw so far you will earn packs and coins from doing this, among many other unique items, which could be special cards.

The designing team of EA and some celebrities have teamed up to make some cool kits! As far as i have seen so far Zedd (The Singer) has made one! If you preorder the game you receive some exclusive kits with it. Below is two of Zedd's kits and one of EA's.

EA has said that the whole player growth system in FIFA 17 has changed, players now will be ranked at the end of each match out of 10. This will level up your player. If you are a striker it will be quicker to level up shooting than defending and so on. At the end of each you will be fit to see your player getting levelled up.

They have now allowed a more variety of traits to be used, this is another way you can use to Level up your player. Skill points are earned in game and you use them to to equip specific Traits to Physical, Defending, Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Pace, or Goalkeeping.

You can customise your kits and crests for your club! You are given 24 kit templates to start with and you'll have the option to select Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary colours to make your kit more exiting and unique.

They didn't actually release how many crests their are but what i can see from this picture below it looks to be around 18-20. You can use the same instructions with them! Simply pick one and choose colours for it and make it unique.

Each team now has a unique personality which dictates the goals you'll need to achieve in both the short and long term to succeed at your club. Your board's expectations fall into five categories:
Domestic Success, Continental Success , Brand Exposure , Financial and Youth Development.

I personally think that this will make career mode a lot more interesting because i think it is fair to say that all of us get very bored of career mode after about 2 seasons with this it could mean you have a lot more to work for due to the higher number of objectives, i do hope they are quite strict with them as it will keep more people interested and focused.

EA has now introduced club worth value in career mode. As well as different sources of Earnings and Expenses. You'll now be able to see a detailed breakdown of your income from transfers, loans, match-day revenue, media and merchandising, while your outgoings on player and scout wages, youth facilities, stadium maintenance and travel will also be visible to you in the Finances menu.

You will be fit to choose 1 of 11 coaches to sit on your technical area which you will see when playing a match.

The game is still very slow! It feel like i am playing it in slow motion and thats one of the things i wanted them to change from the last game. The passing is a lot better, and is definatly one of the things that needed to be changed. You can now actually pass a ball through the middle of players for your striker to get in behind! Like real football for once. Shooting is hard but it will make it more interesting because you cant just get 1 on 1 and are guaranteed a goal. Finesse shots are no longer OP meaning everyone will have to mix up the type of shots they use. (My Summary so far)

the_soggy wrote The game play is a lot smoother than previous fifas but I feel AI's are still a little useless. My teams AI's dont do shit and the opponents are making runs and defending properly. Mine are literally standing still and not putting themselves in the game. I hope that they fix this static feeling of players. Other than that I greatly enjoy the game and cant wait to get full game.
