So about a month ago I purchased a Nexus 5x phone and it was working well. All features were running smoothly and no apps were crashing or anything. About a week after getting the phone I ran into an error where the camera stopped working and just went to a black screen. This seemed to be a common problem with the phone so I looked up how to fix it. not going to go fully into detail, but it's still not working. Going to put things I tried down below, thanks to anyone who will try to help me.
tl;dr - Nexus 5x camera not working. List of things I've tried below.
-Uninstalling and updating
-restarting the phone
-factory reset
-starting in safe mode
-clearing data/cache
-calling support to help
I'm really at a loss looking for any help I can get. Of course any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
EDIT - Forgot to mention that I am unable to talk to someone unless I am on speaker. Tried nothing to fix.

Try these few steps..
look up how to factory reset from recovery.
try earbuds when talking it may help.
uninstalling wouldn't do much in general.
try a third party app as your default.
clearing data and cache wouldn't help much.
support never really helps. so don't go there.
now, if you're using your camera in a call OFC you will TRIGGGGGGGGGGGER the gyroscope.
i have a 6P and had a 5x at one point, never ran into issues.
if anything see if your warranty isn't fully done for and grab a replacement while you can.
sorry not much help with this specific are these are just some things i suggest

Thanks for the reply.
Sadly, no go. I tried everything you've suggested before hand and nothing at all. As for the actual phone issue, earbuds didn't solve anything. They are unable to hear me unless they are unplugged and the phone is on speaker.
I'm probably going to just have to get a replacement/new phone. I've been asking around and I seem to be the only one having this problem to such a bad extent.
-Thanks again for the help.
