Someone sent me a exe that i clicked and opened and the program works just fine but i need to make sure i dont have a rat if anyone can help please reply with your skype thanks

I had this issue once.
Turn your wifi off on your computer, or disconnect the internet.
System restore your PC to a previous date.

Should be fixed.

If you don't have a previous date you can go back (most cases you will) like Nick said please update the thread cause then you'll have to try something else.

First run the file through here.

See if anything pops up, if something does, then continue as below. If nothing pops up but you still feel it's something you don't want on your PC just to be safe,

Run [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] on your PC and scan for any malware.

After run [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and see if there is anything else going on with what was downloaded.

After all that is done, run any anti-virus you have and run those 2 again and see if anything is picked up.
