Now my question is are they actually looking at the code or are they looking for age of the account, time played, ridiculous stats, etc.

Rockstar support. Spent over an hour on the phone with them and got that if the account is legit it will transfer after submitting a ticket. That's why they updated the transfer outlines

it doesn't explain why some have been able to transfer and why some haven't entirely, and it doesn't explain why people who have called up with legit accounts and not gotten any help (I've seen a ton and even close friend had issue)

I won't believe it till there is more on this. Obviously none of us want this.

its all speculation until it is actually confirmed by rockstar. Seen stuff like this over the years and a lot of times it's just false. I hope you're not right. Seems pretty unrealistic long term.

Only thing I can think of is a mixture of account age and stats and a cutoff with a certain mixture.

Obviously no one wants this but it appears its the case for now. Unless they get tired of the influx of calls and tickets. I think what finally did was not the money but the ridiculous ranks and things like modded rolls and invisible outfits as it seems this is what the community has been in an uproar about. It suck financially but I'll be honest, that shit doesn't belong on next gen anyway. Last gen who cares, but next gen is too new and relevant

All i can say is it doesnt look like it is working out for them right now. A lot of angry legitimate people willing to walk away from the game forever and are sadly just getting ignored.

Only time will tell i hope it gets resolved soon.

the main thing doubting me from all of this is the fact I've had people with actual legit accounts that haven't been assisted. Old account as well. It doesn't make any sense. There is no regulation here. It's random which leads me to believe even part of rockstar is confused aka their support. I've seen many different replies which doesn't make sense either. It's like they don't know what to say.
