I think it depends what the situation is did you used to go out with her or were you just friends? because if you're just friends then i would say not to take flowers idk though.

Yeah, we were together before she moved.

Maybe not flowers but something romantic of that matter. Unless she's definitely still into you then maybe yea go with the flowers or a single rose. Also probably go to lunch/dinner at a nice place.

Agh, a lot of missing information on this one. Whenever I take out a girl and its been awhile; I usually will pay for the dinner and let the rest play out. I never want to give off the vibe of " I'm desperate" ,also don't want to over do it and make her feel uncomfortable. Again, I don't know our or her's personalities,what your past was, etc. Its hard to determine what would be the best thing. So, I give you some advice that has worked for me. Take to a semi-nice restaurant (nothing too fancy but at the same time not a sleezy bar). Pay for the dinner and see what happens; if your both enjoying yourself's, the rest will play out.

Thought this was a given at first but make sure you're paying for everything at least on this date

I was thinking of going out for a nice dinner as well, she has mentioned it before. I'll of course pay for it. Appreciate the advice lads.
