okay so i'v got a VAUXHALL CORSA 1.4 VVT A/C Excite in carbon black which i love to rag about as i use it for general purposes and for work and i'm slightly confused as i don't know if it's an MK lll or it's an MK IV i'm slightly confused so if you can tell me which it is then it'll mean a lot to me...

reason being is because when it comes to buying upgrades / parts for my vehicle some i can't buy as they're not the right ones for my car this is why i need to know if its the MK 3 or MK 4

Type in the VIN to Google and it should tell you.

Quick question, how are you paying for insurance if you don't know what car you have?

Also what is this MK III and MK IV? Is this a trim level? If it is, it should tell you on your title or registration. The title to my old truck said "Ford F1-PU XLT" which means it's a Ford F-150 pickup, XLT trim.

Not trying to offend you by questioning your knowledge about the car for insurance, the reason I ask is because in the US, when I call and as for a quote or new policy, I have to give them all the information. If I tell them my car is a 2013 Ford Fusion SEL when it's actually a 2013 Ford Fusion SE, my car is not actually covered. Either way I have to give them my vin and they will figure out it's an SE not an SEL, I was just curious how you could pay for insurance without knowing if it's a III or IV.

i totally understand where you're coming from but here in England you just give them the reg plate and its all done via computer and you tell them the colour of the vehicle how many miles etc etc and thats it, completely different to you guy's in US

If it looks somewhat similar to this:

It would be called the Corsa D, which makes it a MK 4 Corsa.

Hope I helped!
