So right now I use a USB Linksys adapter on my computer to connect to my wifi because I'm too far away to use an ethernet cable. And the internet is slow as all hell. I was wondering if there was ANYTHING I could get/do to make the internet better.

I tested on ethernet and I was getting around 70Mbps down and 30-35 up, with the wifi USB stick I'm getting 2.8 Mbps down and 2.3 up

I might just go with the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 and see if that works well enough and then if it doesn't I will probably go with that, thanks! I completely forgot about routers lol

These things have a lot of range believe it or not. Does all the channel switch's if the radios get noisy.

Or just buy home plugs so that you can use a wired connection. Or buy a long Ethernet cable and run it through the ceiling or something in to your room.

Or buy a wi-fi adapter for your PC that isn't just a shitty USB one. No need to spend more than $50, whichever option you go with.

I have some experience with the on hub and recommend it to the non tech savvy. However if you are some networking freak i suggest staying away as there is no web ui.
