Now I have no hate against the shows of anime but me myself have never seen an interest in wanting to watch it, I used to watch/play dragon ball z back when I was a kid and must admit that was pretty cool.
But I don't seen to have an desperate interest in that game now.
So I just would like to know your reason for loving anime?

I think one of the reasons I like it is because of the nature of the medium, they can make many interesting and complex plots and characters that would be difficult to create via things like reality tv or just shows using real actors. They also seem to always know how to hit your emotions. I'm a guy that doesn't really feel much that often, but sometimes anime will just catch you off guard and you'll be like ...damn. That and some are just so stupid that you can't help but enjoy them

I watch anime for the same reason most people would watch tv shows and movies for entertainment as these kinds of storys if they tried to make them into live action shows or movies then they would be terrible, Dragon Ball Evolution being evidence of that. I think some things can be made into good live action if done the right way but for the type of anime I enjoy such as Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and others then it wouldnt be as good and wouldnt look as good

Well I did see some anime when I was a kid like yu-gi-oh, pokemon, etc. I did see The Last Airbender and recently seen Legend of Korra. I watched what seems to be everything available on Netflix and moved on to anime out of boredom and had some good laughs with most anime. I'll watch just about anything that is decently good and makes me laugh really.

I'm currently watching anime bc the series hasn't ended. I started watching Naruto in like 2014, and it's still on. It's coming to am end here in a month. So I'll prolly stop watching anime when it ends

My reasons for loving and watching anime is probably because I don't really enjoy my life that much. I'm 16, and my life "revolves" around track and cross country, but my life is boring and there's always personal problems gapping and going on in it.(family). So when I watch anime I get a new view of the world. I understand and connect really well with the characters. It gives me kind of a "break" for so to speak, from the real world. Especially when I get all bundled up with covers and snacks and Gatorade around me and just binge watch something.
So yeah. It gives me a break from all the bs the real world throws at me :p

I started watching anime 2 years ago purely for the music, my eyes got opened up to a whole new genre. I bought a piano now I learn all my favorite stuff.
So im drawn to animes with great OST's.

I love the super in depth stories and art styles of anime. I really would not mind writing or designing for a manga or an anime. It would be a ton of fun.
EDIT: Thanks for the downvote, Nas. 10/10

Anime can be used as a good escape from a stressful life, even if it's only momentarily.
