So about 3 months ago I bought an elgato game cap hd from my friend who has used it multiple times (not faulty or damaged) however when I try to record gameplay through my late 2012 Mac mini I get the "connect a capture device to get started" message on the software. I use 1 TV and switch between HDMI 1 & 2 could this effect the capture card displaying image? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
