I recently ordered a PowerA ProEX wired xbox one controller from ebay, condition new, and the right stick has an issue. It seems to be stuck drifting up, meaning that a character in a game will always be looking up. Every other button on the controller works including the left/right look directions, but up and down does not work. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to get a new controller? Does anybody else have one of these controllers and are experiencing any issues?

Please let me know any info in the comments.

This is why i usually stay away from 3rd party controllers because they are built so cheap and usually cause many problems down the road.

The analog stick is mess up so you will have to get a new controller unless you want to take it apart and try to fix it

That seems like the case, opening an Xbox controller isn't hard and you buy the things for it for roughly $5 ($2 bucks for the tool, and $3 analog sticks if you need em)

Just YouTube it, should be a simple fix.

Thanks for the info guys. Since I don't want to brake the controller beyond repair, I am just gonna get a new one once I have some more money. Plus this way I can return it to the seller for a full refund.

I mean like, if thats what you want to do then go for it, but just remember if you find there is a problem with your controller sometime in the future and you don't want to return it or cant look into opening it up. The controllers from MS aren't that cheap so they should be fine if you use a bit of pressure when opening em (however its not really needed due to how easy it is)

Anyways, since you already decided what you are going to do in the end I'm going to lock the thread now.
