If you have passed your driving test or able to drive a car (doing lessons), how is/was your driving experience?
I've just passed my driving test today, (woop woop), and I've only just realised how crazy my driving Instructor was and how I managed to pass my test with him teaching me.
I've had some weird experiences while driving, such as; hitting a deer and getting an idiot speeding towards me who was drunk.
It took me a while to get used to driving after those, but I've eventually passed and bought my first car which is a Astra Vxr.
Feel free to post your experience/experiences

During tests the easiest thing to do is to just stay calm and drive like you normally would, if you are a good driver

It's a good job I'm not a hot head and get road rage like a lot of people. I enjoyed learning, just took longer than I wanted it to.

Glad i chose the instructor i did. There's a lot of things i got taught that others haven't with other instructors.
It cost me £20 per lesson and i took over a year to pass, usually had an hours lesson every week or every two weeks.

I hate when people drive slow in the left lane instead of pulling to the right lane.
I hate people that run red lights/stop signs almost causing a fatal car crash.
They don't even think about what could happen to others.
Same with drunk drivers.

Well I had 2, 2 hour lessons every week, until I came across them incidents, so I choose 1 hour per one week / 2 weeks as well.

Some people have no common sense or road sense in that matter. I travel the whole country for my job, and I see so many incidents involving speeding, careless driving, or just plain stupidity like, using phone or doing their make up.

I learned to drive like I think most people around where I live in TN do, from driving on the backroads and in parking lots using their parents car. I drove my parents cars around for a good month or so on and off before I was confident. I ended up taking my test and did fine and have been driving ever since.
I have been driving legally for about 2 years now and haven't had a wreck or anything of that sort as of yet (fingers crossed it stays that way)

Unfortunately, I couldn't take my parents car out as they both have automatic cars, so therefore, it wouldn't of helped me with gears. But touch wood neither of us have a wreck. Safe driving
