The sniper class has always had a love hate relationship in the Battlefield series, is this any different in Battlefield 1?

It's not bad for me I just have to get used to it a little more. I had no problem with the recon class in BF4, same with BFBC2

I think it's also that some players don't like snipers because they engage from such a distance instead of being right in the fight.

Love sniping on here. Not a fan of the scope reflection thing which makes it easy to spot/be spotted.

Not a fan of the Russian sniper, incredibly inaccurate which is frustrating. Get a steady, clean shot on an enemies head at a reasonable distance.. Bullet goes about 20ft to the left or right -_-

Honestly, this is what happens in real life, they are trying to make it real life i guess, they just didnt have the technology in WW1.

I know i know but the first week of the beta you could literally get a steady aim on someone from objective C whilst at objective A, aim the slight but above and take their head off. Now, you do the same but the bullet ends up going nearer to objective F!

honestly i have no idea what you are talking about LOL. i have experience with all the snipers from all distances and never had a bullet go off target to the left or right. I asked a few friends if they ever had that happen and they said its never happened to them either.
