For the price you have paid for that "Pre Built" computer you could of picked better parts.
it also would of run games better also.

Yeah, I know I've heard it's a lot better to build your own, but I don't even know the first thing about that.

Building your own is incredibly easy and there are tons of guides out there for it. The problem with ordering prebuilts is that they overprice things a lot. So for around your price range ou could've probably gotten a nice i5 and a GTX 1070, which would've been noticeably better than the AMD CPU and RX 470 you got.

I had some extra money come in, and I didn't need that powerful of a build right now, I just needed something to get me started. I plan on looking into upgrading it from here, I just don't know how to do any of the work myself.

I recommend checking out some YouTube videos. Pretty much how I learned all my shit back when I built my first computer back in 2011

It's literally as easy as 'Insert Plug A into Socket A' The motherboard tells you what goes where. So simple, children can do it. The only hard part(IMO) is the reset, power, LED pins, etc and those are still 2 minutes only because you have to look in the motherboard manual to find out where they go. Simple.

But, all in all, you made your choice. You don't have to build your own. Don't let people bully you into it. Sure, you could've gotten better, but not everyone needs a beast PC.
