But if we want to be a little more realistic; the way my main room is setup, I have about 40 inches length and over 6 feet tall of window on one side of my room (I don't know what the hell the contractor was thinking but whatever) where a lot of my extra PCs and other stuff I may need, sit at on a desk. If a fire broke out, I could literally break the window out, push whatever I want onto the grass outside the window, grab what I need, dogs will jump out the window on command; truck is in the driveway, quickly load everything from the grass into the truck, doges are in, make sure I have my passport holder and I'm set. However if I was upstairs, then the above 3 would be more so my plan, but I hardly use any other bedroom except for the downstairs one. If things were for the worse and I had only time to get one thing, it would be my passport holder. I can replace the PCs, I can replace the dogs (if they didn't already make it out on their own since they like to stay outside as much as possible) and I can replace the house, I'm not going to go through the hassle of losing my identity or money and then trying to fight and prove who I am without any sort of documentation of my identity.
