A few days ago the ESRB got a play through of the whole game of call of duty black ops...they thought it was a thrilling game but we all know what the ESRB is there for....to rate the game, Obviously it is rated M-Mature....this means it will have alot of violence and such but the ESRB has Really been unfair to black ops.....heres what the ESRB had to say about it.
Call of Duty: Black Ops makes use of a new facial animation capture system so realistic that it had to be toned down for some kills.
"We've completely changed the way we do facial animation," director Dave Anthony told The ESRB.
"Some of the stuff we've done with Gary Oldman's character is amazing."
But animation director Dominique Drozdz said that the animation was a little too good in places.
"There were situations going too far," he added.
"It was a a contextual kill where you were twisting the neck. It was too much. The throat cutting [is] nasty, but that was worse."
So there you have it people, we've reached the point where killing in games is too realistic.
We are all mature gamers errr.....most of us anyways and if the parents o other legal guardians have a problem buying the game for there child then dont buy it.....the ESRB has a right to say its pretty violent...bt all treyarch wants to do is make it immersive.....anyways leave your comments or oppinions of the situation...

Cut them so slack, Think about the little kids that play CoD, They matter to regardless if they shouldn't be playing it.
ESPN were thinking outside the box.

Although the game is rated M which means you should be 17 years of age or older to play it, instead these little 10 year olds get their parents to buy the game so they can ruin it for us... damn nubs

Hmm I didnt know "ESPN" rated games now seriously though its rated "M" for a reason, all the little kids do is ruin it.
