Basically, found my old ipod earlier, having had lost it for several years. But it's got a password.
Currently trying to get in with the 1 password I get to try every 10 or so minnutes, but no luck.
It's probably on an old version of iOS, as I havent used it for years and it's only a 2nd gen I believe.
Is there any way to hack//bypass the lock screen, or gain access to the data on it? I want to recovery any images on it, as well as music (on an app ~ not in music library)

What you need to do is put the device into recovery mode.

1.Turn it off
2.Make sure you have iTunes installed on your computer
3.hold down the home button and plug the iPod into the computer
4.keep holding until the picture of the power cable shows up on your screen. (Should take about 30seconds)
5. It should automatically pull up iTunes on your computer. click restore on iTunes
6. Wait for it to download the latest update and restore it
7. Enjoy your newly reset iPod!

I hope I could help you bro. Message me if you have any problems with it

It's more that I want to recover the pictures & music on it without erasing it :/
I have a lot of music on it, and I'm looking to find it all as I don't actually remember all the stuff I used to listen to.

Make sure it's backed up first?
