I see them as fine for a hobby, though when they get into the wrong hands that is when they are dangerous.

A gun is not a bad thing unless it's in the wrong hands. Just the same as a kitchen knife. Put it in the wrong hand and your going to have problems. It's as simple as that.

Do you support gun ownership? Do you own and firearms yourself?
Well. Firstly I am from the UK so that will change alot on my views of firearms but I do come a military family so that has affected my opinion on them also.
I live on a base so to get to my house everyday I see guards carrying L85A2/L86A2's (SA80) then the patrols around the base carrying the same with a firing range and tank ground around a mile from house. I think the UK has good laws on firearms. You must have a permit and a reason to own a weapon (self defence is not one!) and it be stored in a secure cabinet. I personally dont have my own but I love guns. I have always been a massive fan of H&K from a young age. I support gun ownership if you are medically fit and are going to use it for hunting. I will admit if I ever move to the US (state permitting) I will probably have a firearm for hunting and self defence.

Rather or not if they are legal. Criminals will find a way to get them and why would you make us even more defenseless against them.

No, that's not "Nuff said". This is just spam to get your post count up as there are "Muricans" who support gun control and some who don't.

Ok, say someone kidnaps you and is going to rape you and slit your throat? Man don't you wish you were concealed carrying right about now? Get out of here with that "logic".

I bought my rifle with a 30 rd mag. I haven't done anything bad with it. It's not the tool, it's the operator.
I support gun ownership, and I do own guns.
I don't remember caring or asking for your opinion, I'm more than happy going to university everyday without having to worry that someone is going to take in a gun and shoot the place up.
There is the tiniest chance that your situation would ever occur and more importantly, it wouldn't because I'm not hated and nobody wants to kill me.
But I'm just going to allow guns into my country so that... criminals can now have guns legally and I have to be scared everywhere I go because guns are so easily accessible that gun massacres are almost guaranteed.
Why would I want to change my country which hasn't had a killing massacre since 1996 so that I can have one every week?
Don't call my logic stupid when you just supported the almost guaranteed massacres of children in schools, I'll state my opinion when asked and I don't intend to hear your bigoted views back.
