So, I'm currently using a HP Z400 Workstation that does everything I need it to including gaming! Now I really want to build a new PC For as cheap as possible. Something with maybe 12-16 GB Of RAM. I was wondering if there is anything I can take off this computer and add to my new one. Reason I was something so cheap is because this PC Gets so hot and I plan on adding more stuff to the new one over time but I just need stuff to get it running. I was planning on taking my Intel Zeon 3.4 GHz out of the z400 and use it in my new build just for 3 or 4 months until I purchase an Intel I7 Skylake. I'm currently using a GTX 960 4GB So a graphics card isn't nessasary. Mainly will need a case, RAM, Motherboard, And a power supply. Help me out guys! Thank!

Motherboards are not universal, you will need another motherboard for the i7 because your xeon (not zeon) will not be compatible with the skylake board.
Im not sure what kind of motherboard is in the the hp as they tend to design motherboards specifically for the case, it may not fit into the new case and also having to remove the parts, fit into the new case then remove again for i7 is not practical and you may end up damaging something.
My recommendation would be not to touch anything yet untill you have saved up the amount you wish to spend on the pc.

Great. No need for a new system, or an upgrade then.

This already contradicts itself. 16GB RAM is not "as cheap as possible".

Hm? What? You're using this system but you want to tear it apart so you can have two half assembled system? I really am not sure what you're looking for here?

So, you need a new build? Or, upgrades?

So pretty much ill need a new mother board, Power Supply, RAM 8GB Is fine, And a case. I need a motherboard compatible with the Xeon. I'm on a Budget for around $150 to $200. I will likely goto Microcenter to get these parts which they usually carry most stuff and they do price match but if you buy a warranty, you can simple take back the mother board in 6 months because you got another one and they will refund your money.
