In my opinion that game should have been patched a while ago but they wouldn't waste time to support it anymore tbh. It got ruined by infections and what not, people like me would enjoy to play it for a few before remastered comes out.

Yeah, I agree it should have been patched years ago, but they're not going to invest money into an old game that's on last Gen especially when they are making a remastered version of it for next Gen.

Did you guys not read my post? THEY CAN'T PATCH THE GAME FOR THE EXPLOITS THAT ARE OUT NOW!!! They said this years ago when about the time that Black Ops 2 was released because that's when they figured out how to stop "infections." COD4 as it is on last gen can't be patched and this is the reason that they went with remastered instead of backwards compatibility. Don't you think there is a reason for them not giving us all the old cods for backwards compatibility? It's because they can't patch the servers on those games because it's an exploit in the old games that allows for infection lobbies. This is why remastered was the only choice for the old cods. Also, in December we will be getting news that there will be a new remastered edition coming out.
