Not sure how your job handles no call no shows but thats serious shit where I work. You get fired no questions asked if you do it twice and they WILL inform your next employer, it will be stated that you did not show up to work twice (im talking about my job not yours so dont be alarmed lol). I think its kinda iffy that you didnt atleast call him back AFTER your matches and tell him like hey sorry I was handling personal business. If I was you I would not even say anything to him unless he asks, if he asks just say something along the lines of "handling personal business sorry"

Idk what you do for work but not calling out, not calling back, and not showing up at all really **** up everyone else you work with. Next time atleast call back after youre done playing your matches. I dont want to tell you to lie however telling a small fib and informing your manager is better than leaving them clueless as to your situation.

Thats just me though
