So i have recently been getting ddosed and i can't chnage my ip, i am currently on a static IP. Anyone have any suggestions? New router? I have called my ISP and had it changed before, is there a way i can resolve this without calling them?

Just call them, there is no way for you to change your IP on your end without your ISP provisioning it. In the future I recommend not communicating or associating with people who DDOS and I recommend utilizing a VPN to mask your IP Address.

A new router could potentially change the IP, but that's a stupid idea just call them and ask them to provision a new IP.

Well technically there are ways to get a new IP. One of them being MAC spoofing if your router supports it.

Well technically there are ways to get a new IP. One of them being MAC spoofing if your router supports it.


There are but it would be much easier for him to just call his ISP. Especially if he isn't capable of doing MAC Spoofing.
