My PC has been acting weird lately. Randomly when I start it up sometimes I will get the BSOD with a different error each time, one being MEMORY MANAGEMENT, another being SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION, and the other one I got was FAULTY HARDWARE CORRUPTED PAGE. Each time I get the BSOD it will say collecting data, then we will restart your PC. After it restarts my PC is back to normal and I can use it just fine most of the time. Today I started it up and my task manager would not open and some of my games wouldn't open. Weird stuff like this has been happening lately and it's really bothering me.
I have cleared my hard drive and reinstalled windows twice since it started, but it still happens. The only thing I can think of that might be causing the problem is this new RAM I installed. I had originally had two single sticks of G.Skill RAM (F3-17000CL11S) and I wanted more so I bought a pack of two 4GB sticks (F3-17000CL11D) to upgrade. The sticks are basically identical, other than the fact that the two new sticks I bought are dual rank and the older ones are single. The other difference is the color of the chip or whatever on the actual stick (I'm not sure if that makes a difference). Other than that the specs are exactly the same.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and hopefully you can help me solve my problem.
PC Specs:
Motherboard:Asrock fatal1ty z97x killer
CPU: i7-4790k
GPU: GTX 970
RAM 16GB
OS: Windows 10

This is probably due to the mismatched RAM
So remove the RAM you added and see if that fixes it
It also could be due to faulty components that can be tricky to diagnose unless you haven't extra parts laying around

Yea, it probably is the RAM, I just don't understand why if they all have basically the same specs. I don't have any extra parts laying around, but thanks for the reply anyway Loke.

You had the matching pairs in the matching slots, correct? If not, it would absolutely result in a similar problem.

I very much doubt it's because of mismatched RAM, as I have 4 sticks of RAM in my PC, 2 are Adata 4GB sticks and 2 are Corsair 8GB sticks. The only time "mismatched RAM" would be an issue is if they both couldn't reach the same frequency.
