I'm thinking about getting a white keyboard but want to know how dirty they get or if they fade in color overtime.
I know just about everything in white gets dirty, so my question is does anyone here have a white keyboard and how has it done over time in terms of color consistency?

I'm a pretty clean guy so my hands aren't filthy when I'm typing, like food residue on my finger tips stuff like that.
My friend told me that just sweating will get it dirty but I'm never sweating when on my PC lol.

The keyboard I'm looking at is this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] made by Havit.
It's a pretty sweet looking keyboard with all the RGB fuctions I'm looking for plus a sweet led light strip that runs around the entire keyboard which I think is pretty cool.
It also comes in a black color so if any of you were interested, for 75$ I think it's a great deal.

Anyways I would definitely appreciate some feedback.
Thanks!

I used to have a super slim white and metallic keyboard (kinda like a mac) with a sweet mouse. Ngl but I loved it and fitted in with my setup. If it will suit your setup / room then go for it

It depends whether the keyboard is spray painted or actually white.
Most keyboards are just basic plastic nowadays so the plastic colour will be already that colour.

If they spray the keyboard (which I doubt) then it can fade over time.
You should be fine to buy it though.

I'd recommend just getting a black one unless ofc if a black one looks out of place in your setup. Otherwise go for the white one but you'll have to keep cleaning it a bit because there is a lot of dirt in keyboards, as I type away now I am getting quite a bit of "germs" on my hands, ew, better wash my hands mate.

Not sure if it will fade overtime or not.

Yea I'm a bit over black keyboards, wanna switch it up you know?
My friend told me to just wipe it down every 2 weeks with clorox wipes and I'll be fine lol.

Cheers to everyone, gonna buy it now.

I remember the old days mac keyboards. Over time the white plastic would start to yellow. Granted this likely will take several years to happen if you keep up with good cleaning.

I have a beige keyboard.

I think white/beige/light grey keyboards look great. A nice switch from the usual black.
