Well, the DDR4-2666 is faster. A way to tell is just simply by looking at the numbers at the end. For example, DDR4-2400 is slower than the DDR4-2666. Those numbers at the end tells you the memory speed, which is known as the frequency. DDR4-2400 refers to a 2400 million transfers per second while DDR4-2666 refers to a 2666 million transfers per second. By multiplying the frequency by 8, you convert transfers-per-second into bytes-per-second. For example, DDR4-2400, the bytes-per-second would be 19.2 gigabytes per second.
