I'm currently stuck on which combination is best to buy.
My birthday is coming up soon and i'm about to start ordering the parts but I am unsure of whats best
I am only really wanting to play csgo which I know is a more cpu dependent game.
But a build I was suggested before had an i3 6100 and a gtx 1060 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

But considering I will probably only be playing csgo I thought that a i5 and a 970 might be better

if you have any advice or any builds to share with me that would be great

for any wanting to suggest a whole new build:
Budget: £500 ( I already have [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I also don't need any peripherals.
I can also get the OS another way so that wont be needed.

no need for an i5 for just csgo, the game is not demanding enough. Even a 1060 is overkill for that game. The 970 does not make sense to buy anymore. You can get a 6gb 1060 which just as good as a 970 with 2 more gigs of vram.
