Audio works on OBS, but I would have to play the game with myself not hearing any game audio. I don't get it sound works on Elgato record and I can hear the game, but it doesn't for OBS.

I might have to visit the OBS forums for this.

Yes and I can hear audio for everything except when OBS is running I don't hear any audio that is spiking on the meter. Yet I could open up a YouTube vid and hear that.

Are you using headphones or speakers? Make sure your headphones are set to default audio device on both your PC sound settings as well as OBS settings.

Okay new problem 1st time using pc to pc capture. When I first start OBS the record and picture looks great after a few minuets. The damn picture gets choppy and freezes from time to time. What in my settings would cause this?

I've got

i7 6700
NVidia 970 I believe
windows 10

My sync is off so I'll just ask. I shoot and a sec or 2 goes by and I hear it. Do I have to bump up the gain on the audio mixer to correct problem?

and I'm probably going to bed soon.

So thanks again and I'll check back after work tomorrow.

One problem fixed a 100 more to go.
