Alright I have a slim that freezes on the splash screen. I've watched multi vids about the internal memory being taken out and it'll fix it.
The thing is, it doesn't have that internal memory chip on this slim?
Anyone ran into this problem before? Is this Xbox slim just a paper wheight??
I will be willing to give someone at least $15 for a decent answer!

have you tried putting a hdd inside and trying it then, i wouldnt recommend using that 4gb thats for system updates etc, i would get a 250gb official xbox hdd or if you have a old xbox 360 about and it has at least 60-120gb on it, i would take it off the old 360 and unscrew the casing on the hdd using a t8 screwdriver they are really cheap to buy or you could try and use a different screwdriver but thats your choice, its just to get inside of the casing for the hdd, then put it in the 4gb slim, i hope you get your xbox sorted buddy.

I used to have the same console and was playing it literally every day, same problem occured, might be due to heat or simply it's getting old.. Mines was definitely heat tho, leave it off for a while ? Or maybe get a new console lol i got a ps4 leaving my 6yr account behind :[ cant even remember my gamertag it's been that long.
