Even though I was born in 2000, I've always enjoyed old rock music from the 70's. I've enjoyed bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, e.t.c and I feel like this generation doesn't know exactly what 'Real Music' is. I can't even listen to the radio anymore because where I live, it's only pop music and it all just sucks to me. There are some really good Pop/Rap artists I do like (A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem) and I also really love all the heavy type music now like Attila, Chelsea Grin, e.t.c. I just feel like all the rap songs now are slowed down beats with no emotion what so ever while all this Rock Music is filled with emotion and energy. Idk, these are just my thoughts. I don't really think rock is dead because bands like Metallica, Green Day, Blink-182, Attila and much more are creating more albums and it's igniting Rock Music again. What do you guys think?

Rock music has definitely slowed down, but I wouldn't say it has died yet. Pop music is more famous though now :/

There are many genres of music now. You like the same kind of music as me. Classic Rock & Hard Rock. As far as just Rock music goes, at the 2016 MTV music awards one of the nominees for best Rock band was Fallout Bot ft. Demi Lovato. So I would say, yes! rock is dead.

I love rock music so much which has influenced me to play guitar these past couple years. Fall out boy is not rock XD Just because a song has a guitar or drums or anything like that incorporated into the music, doesn't make it rock..

Noooo way. People listen to it that you don't even know about but most who do are ashamed to say it because it's not the "cool" thing to do but people def listen to it

Rock music seems to be dying but i can still enjoy going to a show. Just depends on who is playing.
