For how much I use it and the features I get, its worth the monthly.
Work pays a majority of the license as we get all the Apps and I am allowed to use for personal aswell as work.

Paying full price for Photoshop will only ever be worth it if you actually make money with it, and even then you're better off getting all of the Adobe Suite with Adobe Creative Cloud.

I use Creative Cloud at my office and at my house (you can have 1 copy on up to 2 computers) and it's $20ish a month. I would so recommend it if you're interested in graphic design.

I'd say no, when it was a straight up front price it was way better.

My advice if you don't want to have a career in motion graphics or graphic design then don't purchase it = crack it whereas if you want a career in design then purchase.
