If you grab the disc version you will be able to download the data much quick (mostly from the disc) but if you get the online version you can pre-download!

Dover5 wrote I'm debating whether or not to buy the new COD digital or buy the disc version.According to Activision the remaster is a digital download on ps4 and pc but is on 1 disk for Xbox one
I saw the file size for the game is 130gbs. I was wondering if thats even possible to put that much on one disc. I really want to just play COD remastered and I'm thinking maybe it will be 2 separate discs and then I would be able to sell IW.
Does anyone have any information on this? Or if 130gbs on a single disc is even possible?
Thanks for the help!

Yes you can fit that much on 1 disc but I think they are just going to put infinite warfare as a disc then put cod4 remastered as a digital download no matter what but you never know!

regardless if you plan on selling the game or not, you still need the IW disc for now to play COD4 remaster, at least thats the information i have as the COD 4 is a download and the IW disc is what is needed to verify you have the rights to play COD 4.
you can find the information i just stated right here at the bottom of the link i am sending:

Of course it is possible. But I believe they are two separate files. They just put both file sizes together to advertise.

There is no Cod4 disc, you put in the IW disc and you will be prompt to download Cod4.

always buy it digital cod iw is optional for it since you dont need a disc for it but granted we dont know how the digital version works yet we dont know if we need iw installed or not my guess is no, but yes its possible to have 100+gigs now since discs are different then they used to be

You are 100% wrong. I licence transferred BO3 off a person then they took the xbox home away from me, so I bought the BO3 disk. The licence transfer took over 24hours (Yes my internet is bad) and the disk took about 2 hours. So clearly there is a big difference between the disk and digital version from the store.
