So I have this for a mic

Now when I record using the mic input it sounds horrible, my usb turtlebeaches record at a better quality than this mic.
Do I need a preamp for this mic to get better quality?
Im not an expert on mics or anything in that nature.

My uses are for youtube and im looking to get a nice clean sound without breaking the wallet.

What do you recommend? Id like to still use what I got if I can.
