Do you have to have install IW digitally to play MWR or can i just install MWR at the moment?

You do not need IW installed to play MW:R digitally.

this question has been posted a few times now and from what i know if u are buying the game digitally then it should just be 2 games but im not 100% on that because it would be kindof wierd if u had to go on IW to play MWR so you should be able to just download MWR but if you have the disc i am not too sure

No. You still have to buy the legacy edition digitally. You just dont have to have IW installed to play MW:R.

If you bought the game physical, you'll need to have the IW disc in the console to play MW:R.
This will mean you have to have IW installed to play MW:R
