You're not going to get a quality car for cheap, if you do something is wrong with it.

You can find them in the not to rich areas like Seattle, Portland, Chicago etc. for 10k.

They are always expensive, also always for sale around Scranton, PA. Usually for anywhere around 5-20k. Once tax time comes you bet your boy is going to be looking.

You can find blobeyes for $10-12k anything more better have low miles. All Subaru's are going to be overpriced so just be prepared.

If you really want to find a nice cheap car you HAVE to search nationally. In my local area my Audi was 31-40$k but I managed to pick it up for 28,500$ from an Audi dealership 5 hours away.

How much are you wanting to spend? Max mileage? What is the earliest year you want? Are you willing to buy out of state? Also what is your zip code so i can search in and around your area?

An STI usually goes for high dollar overall just about anywhere. Have you considered just modding a WRX? They can be had for a bit cheaper and still make power.
