So lately I have been just down in the dumps over some stuff and it is hard to overcome with the obstacles in my path. Abusive Brother, Separation from my Dad, and the worst of all; Acceptance.

It all pretty much stems from the fact that I cannot deal with school. I literally do not know what to do. This K12 Online Learning Program is not available in my area code. Or even in Maryland itself. I want to drop out, but my mom won't agree or even listen to my side of it. My opinion is that she hould let me do this for one year to see how it works. Like get a job and help out around here. Is it even possible to reenroll? I don't know how ot go about it. I need to get out of there. I have tendencies for things when i go and i am currently one miss away from my mom getting arrested for truancy court and I dont w\think i can go any longer here. I think I am going to have my mom in trouble. Its getting ot be bad. Please give opinions on this..

I hated school. Ended up getting kicked out twice. Got let back in both times, I still f*cked around. I got some work done and passed my GCSE's. What Im sayin is there's things in life you dont wanna do, but you've gotta stick with it and see it through

Honestly man I would not drop out of school. I did and it was hard to find a job and get on my feet! And yes you can go back to school anytime you want as long as your under the age of 21. Please don't make the decision to drop out your education is the most valuable thing In your life. If you don't like public school then I'm sure your school has like a homeschool program. Call you schools secretary if their is.

Look man, you're still young. Finish school you will regret it if you don't.
Don't stress about getting a job right now, you will have the rest of your life to work.
Everything will get better in time.

Hey, dude, I have never been in your position, but I'm pretty sure everyone on here would say don't drop out. Just push through the next few years. I would say stay out of your house as much as possible and find something you're passionate about to pass the time. Who knows? You might be able to make a career out of it. Furthermore, stay on track - don't get involved with drugs/alcohol (at least that's my very minority opinion). Is there anyone else who would be willing to take you in? I can talk from my experience that moving out of my mom's house at age 15 was one of the best (if not, the best) decisions I have ever made EVER. Also, yes, getting a job will teach you so much, financially, socially, mentally, and other ways as well. I hope this helped at least a little bit. If you want to take it to the private messages, I would be more than happy to talk to you.

By the way, I just graduated high school this year and hated this shit out of it. I am attending college right now and hate it just as much, but in the long run, I hope it will be worth and I hope the same for you.

Not with that attitude no. Believe in yourself, focus on what you wanna get done. Put your mind to it and try and try and try. Don't ever give up! At the end of the day if you still do mess up and fail or whatever then at least you can say you tried. Which is better than being like all these benefit leeching assholes that have never worked in their life's eh?
