I just got Astro A40's they are very very comfortable and a nice headset
But... Was it worth the money? I went from Xo4's to These but game volume wise there doesn't seem to be that much of a difference?
Is this just me because I need to get used to them?

I personally don't think Astros are worth it, being I use Turtle Beaches and they work perfectly fine for the relatively cheap price.

The Astros might be able to be a little more sensitive then Turtle Beaches, but that's about it lol.

And it's not like the Astros can't break, so really there's no need to pay $200+ dollars for a headset that can break at anytime, lol.

Unless you are buying the mixamp to go with them, pass on the a40s.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] are the best gaming headset on the market for the price.

I use the astro mixamp with the Clouds.

Hey buddy.
I know this post is over twenty four hours old but I've got valuable information for you.
I bought my AstroA40's Wired with the MixAmp SIX YEARS AGO and they run like brand new after over FIVE THOUSAND HOURS of use across multiple platforms pc and console.

Highly recommended it will probably turn out to be the best audio investment you've made.

Personally I wouldn't pay that much for them.

I just stick with the Turtle Beach x12 they work just fine for me.
