That's what happens as life goes on and you get older, you have more responsibilities and less time for fun things like hanging with friends.

Its because we live in a monetary system where the world is run so corrupt that we have to slave crappy jobs at stupid hours to have 'decent lives' we get 2 days a week to do what we want what we need is change so we can live in harmony.

There's no point in stressing over petty things like that. I know your mind gets wild when life hits you hard like that. I used to live in a Village and I couldn't see my friends because they were too far away where I used to live. I lived there for 4 years sadly. Chin up and look on the bright things in life that you can do that other people can't in the world.

18 and not driving? Why is that? I got my license the day I turned 16.
Don't worry about the social aspect though. Yeah friends you used to have you won't see much, schedules rarely line up. You will learn that you have to make friends with co workers.

Some people live in different parts of the world. Just because you can get a license at 16, doesn't mean everyone can. Also, some people don't care about driving so they don't rush it. I, personally could have done my test 2 years ago but still haven't because of personal reasons. Could be loads of reasons he's not driving yet.
On topic- life is pretty shitty. No getting away from that. However, at least you get to experience it. The only way to really live and be happy is to appreciate everything and always look at the good. You have a job, so at least you're making some money. Of course this means you and your friends will be more busy, but you'll definitely be able to see them. Find out work schedules and try to fit time in between work days to hang out. Maybe find some new friends that you can hang out with easier, as well? And/or invest spare time into new hobbies. Then, in time, you'll get your license and a car and be able to visit friends more easily.

Yeah same with my friends especially after high school. All my friends are either working or going to school.
